Einstein De Lorenzo Higher Education Institute, Potenza is a vocational high school.

The school building covers an area of 5,200 square meters.
It is a public school located in Potenza, near Matera, which was the 2019 European Capital of Culture.
The central population of Potenza is 60,000.
The school was established to train professionals needed in the industrial, manufacturing, textile and fashion sectors, as well as social and healthcare fields.
The school has 142 teachers and approximately 1,400 students, aged 14 to 19.

12th-grade students participate in internships three days a week in various companies.
Students continue their education in vocational and technical fields.
Many students come from disadvantaged backgrounds, including economic and social difficulties, as well as broken families.
5% of students are of African descent.
Half of the students come from rural areas.
Regional Context:
The unemployment rate in the Basilicata region, where the school is located, is quite high.
After graduation, many students migrate to the Lombardy region for work opportunities.
